I worked at Overmonnow Primary School for two terms eight years ago and looked up your website to see if any of the colleagues I remember are still there. I was impressed with your website and really pleased to see the photos of former colleagues whom I enjoyed working with so much. I left to have my first child, but I now have two boys (aged 7 and 4). Overmonnow Primary has been awarded the NAACE mark for computing - we are the only primary in the area to get it! Well done everyone - especially Mrs Thomas and Mrs Parsons - who have done loads of work!

hello everyone i really miss you all and i hope you all had a very nice christmas and a happy new year i just wanted to share my advise for year 6s that the work is quite easy but on the first week of comp you get about 12 pieces of homework and also dont be naughty because you end up stayin in after school for a 15 min detention of .LISTEN TO MY ADVICE TRUST ME .

Nice to see Mr Richards, Miss Abbot and Mrs Beach still working at the school, great people .I was at the Girl School in (Clwd ddy) but then they moved us all to the new school when it opened. Was in the school football team where the new colours of Amber and black were used, The Wasps, or was it the bees. Now at the tender age of 37 I still think that Overmonnow is and was the best school in the world.I remember that Mr Richards would give a sweet to anyone who gave him a question that he could`nt answer on special question day. Remember Mr Tappinton, Mr Nielson AND Mrs Hoch EYE duNNOO Rodericks.

I THINK OVERMONNOW IS A GREAT SCHOOL. I MISS ALL THE TEACHERS THERE. SAY HI TO MRS BRAY.

I'm now happily retired-early! Hope my ex-colleagues aren't too green with envy. I don'tlook like Father Christmas any more ,the beard has gone.
I miss the sporting events and the children-well some of them ,but I don't miss the marking and all the paper work. Good luck with the inspection.Children behave and teachers stay calm and don't get too uptight-it's only someone looking at you teach-you do that every day.
We're going to Greece on Saturday and then I'm going to support The Lions in New Zealand, I can do these things now I'm retired!

Re the Nearly New Sale last Saturday: this was a great success and raised over £400.00 for the school. On behalf of the PTA thanks to everyone who came along, and to all those, parents and staff, and especially Jane Langdon who masterminded it all,who helped make it such a good event.

Hi everyone at 6T and all the teachers Iwould like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all my teachers including my maths teacher Mr. Richards, he has taught me loads of math stuff. I can now add 4 digit numbers, I know most of my times tables like the 8 times table 7times table and so on!. I'm not saying I'm a smarty pants...........YET! but I have really enjoyed school and a big thank you to Mrs. Thomas for helping me with my English thanks.

Great to hear from you Mrs Sullivan, I wonder why the concert was not listed in the Calendar: It would be great to know what events of this type are going on around the school: eg sporting events (well done rugby and netball teams last week, lets hear more about your progress. ) What about including school trips like class 5's outing next Thursday: it would help create overall awareness of what is happening across the school.
